Inspired by a lifelong passion for all things funny, Sara studied comedy writing at the Second City training centers in Chicago and New York, where she had the good fortune of studying with Nancy Beckett, Andrew Newberg, and Kevin Scott. In 2004, she elbowed her way into ImprovBoston, New England's premiere improvisational and sketch comedy theatre. Since then, she's written countless sketches, developed Boston's first comedy writing workshop program (for IB University), and penned a full-length original musical.
Come Home Soon - SFA sings about the perils of having consumption and being in icky incest love with her brother, in ImprovBoston's 2005 production 'Gorefest III; The Gruesome Tale of Penny Dreadful'. Song by Don Schuerman, and my thanks to him for allowing me into the orbit of his genius. *
* He made me say that because he's a writer, and writers are loony narcissists. Hey, wait...
